Croatian fan
Hi Debi,
How are you? I hope things
are going well in your personal life and in your
career. I have been looking to contact you for a
few weeks now so I'm finally here to speak my heart and
my mind and tell you the reason I've decided to send you
this message. You are probably used to getting fan mail
from people all across the country on a daily basis, but
I am here with a completely different message so I hope
you will actually get to read my story.
My name is Seyo, I'm 26
years old, and I currently live in Atlanta. I am
originally from Croatia, a small country in Central
Europe. I've been living in Atlanta for the past 10
years, and I recently obtained my Ph.D in mechanical
engineering. Before starting my career, I also played 3
years of college basketball and I love to stay active as
much as I can. I could tell you a lot more about myself
but it's best if I save something for next time.
The reason I contacted you
is somewhat strange, but I felt that this is something I
had to do to fulfill the wishes of the woman who was
very dear to me and who was killed in a tragic car
accident a few months ago. This is something that she
would have wanted me to do so here I am writing to you
from the bottom of my heart. For almost 4 years, I was
in a committed relationship with an amateur female
bodybuilder who lived here in Atlanta during my college
years and who originally moved here from Florida. She
was 36 years old when we first met back in 2003, and
despite our age difference, she made an impact on me
that I will never be able to forget. As I spent time
with her, I gained great respect and admiration for the
sport of female bodybuilding and how much hard work and
dedication it takes to maintain a healthy lifestyle and
touch the lives of other people. She was truly full of
life, and driven to succeed, which only made me a better
man as I learned so much from her and pushed myself to
do better at basketball and at my studies. She told me
once that you were her favorite bodybuilder and that she
always wanted to meet you since for her, you set the
standard for female muscularity and beauty that is so
rare to find these days. Having a role model such as
yourself really helped her stay motivated and I truly
regret that she never got to meet you in person. So
here I am to thank you for being her role model all
these years and for giving her the strength to be the
loving and wonderful person that touched the lives of so
many people.
Nothing would make me more
happy in this world than to get in touch with you
sometimes over MSN or Yahoo messenger and get to know
you a little better, so I hope that you will respond to
my message soon. I understand that you go through
hundreds of messages from fans on a daily basis, and if
I don't get to hear from you, I just want to wish you
all the best in life and I hope all your dreams come
true. You are simply the best.
